GRANT RAUN is a non-binary filmmaker from Houston, Texas based out of Los Angeles. They are a graduate of Rice University, the USC School of Cinematic Arts and the Google Creative Lab Five program. They began their photography practice as an exercise to improve their understanding of cinematography, and intentionally use limited tools (like point-and-shoot cameras, and expired or novelty filmstock) in order to focus on light and composition. For them, film photography is about being present, making decisions and living with the results.
